Smoking Kills. Or at least, it leaves you breathless…

This is my sister Nadia, and she is SMOKIN’.  That’s right, I mean breathtaking (as I’m sure you just noticed).  This woman is beautiful for so many reasons, especially those found within!  Since I’m sure you already can’t get enough of her charming good looks, you should get to know her enthusiasm about missions, her love for Jesus, her thoughful wisdom, her peaceful demeanor, her silly statements, her love for literature, her (generally-denied) artistic streak, her diabolical scheming, and that’s not to mention her perpetual sarcasm.  I love this girl for all that she is and look forward to who she will become!  At the moment I am missing her a lot and can’t wait till we are reunited in a few weeks :)

On another note: Smoking Kills.  Yeah, the lovely lady with the winning smile can pull a mean serious face about a serious issue.  According to Statistics Canada, smoking contributes to more than 37, 000 deaths a year in our country, and over 6, 000 non-smokers die as a result of second hand smoke.  20% – one fifth – of the population aged 15+ is bound by this health-destroying habit!  So Nadia and I would like to make a statement:  BE SMART, DON’T START.

I had an amazing time shooting these pictures because I was so excited about the new location we discovered and explored.  However, the low light made the photo quality poor at best, hence I played around with Photoshop to apply some artistic effects. Let me know what you think!!  I hope to do a bit of a re-shoot at the location at a better hour of the day sometime in the near future.  Regardless, I hope these photos are well-enjoyed!  Love you, babe <3

      • Thanks so much Kate!
Yeah, low light is my demise, I seriously need to be taught by a professional how to make proper use of it.
Loving the stuff on your blog, as always!
